( February 11, 2025, 05:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China reiterated that trade wars and tariff wars yield no winners and called for equal, respectful dialogue and consultation with the US, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular press conference. The remark was made in response to media inquiries about US President Donald Trump's latest 25 percent tariff on steel and aluminum imports and China's implementation of retaliatory tariffs.
