US Senator Klobuchar introduces algorithmic price-fixing bill

The proposed law would presume a price-fixing agreement when competitors share non-public information through a pricing algorithm; require companies to disclose their use of them and respond to government audits; ban the use of non-public, competitively sensitive information to train an algorithm; and direct the US Federal Trade Commission to study pricing algorithms' impact on competition.See attached document.
