Game developers oppose Valve class certification appeal in US antitrust suit

( February 6, 2025, 16:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Wolfire Games and other developers pursuing antitrust claims over PC gaming distribution asked the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to deny Valve Corporation's request for an interlocutory appeal challenging a lower court's class certification order. The Western District of Washington "correctly held that antitrust impact was capable of classwide resolution despite the scattershot criticisms of Plaintiffs’ expert’s analysis," the developers said in a response to Valve's petition.See attached file....
