US DOJ asks to enforce judgment banning George’s from exchanging information

( February 5, 2025, 15:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Department of Justice asked a US federal court to grant its motion to enforce the final judgment against George’s Inc and George's Foods, which would prohibits the companies from exchanging information about “all forms of payment for work” with other poultry processors. This includes exchange of information through a third-party consultant Agri Stats, the DOJ said in a filing to the District of Maryland. "Following entry of the Final Judgment, George’s did not cease sending its labor cost data, including wage amounts for hours worked, and other compensation information to Agri Stats. The court-appointed compliance monitors and United States concluded that this conduct violates the Final Judgment," the filing said.See attached document...
