Oda LT, cosmetics dealers see Lithuanian resale-price maintenance fines upheld

( February 6, 2025, 12:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Skincare products maker Oda LT and five of its dealers were correctly fined by the Lithuanian competition authority for agreeing not to undercut prices set by the manufacturer nor apply any consumer discounts, a regional administrative court has ruled. In 2023, the authority fined the manufacturer and its distributors Garbanė, GSS Baltic, Permanent Makeup of Baltics, Efektas and Elektroninė Parduotuvė a total of just over 217,000 euros for the conduct. Judges said that there was no legal basis to annul the decision, finding that the businesses entered into a prohibited agreement and that their fines were reasonable assessed.Statement follows (in Lithuanian). ...
