South Korea's competition regulator won 91 percent of Supreme Court cases in 2024

The KFTC reported a 91.2 percent success rate in appeals filed by companies challenging its sanctions on cartel activities, unfair-trade practices, and subcontracting law violations. Over the past five years, the KFTC has maintained a strong track record, winning approximately 90 percent of Supreme Court cases, with 2.2 trillion won (about $1.5 billion) upheld out of the 2.3 trillion won in total fines imposed.The statement, in Korean, is attached....
