Cartel allegations against HP India dismissed by CCI

An anonymous complaint alleged bid rigging by HP and its resellers in two tenders, claiming unfair specifications, exclusion of competitors such as Canon and Epson, and inflated prices. Finding insufficient evidence of bid rigging, the Competition Commission of India said that quoting HP products, the warranty terms, and bidders quoting different brands wasn't necessarily cartelization.
