X Corp. files amended US antitrust complaint over advertiser boycott

( February 1, 2025, 22:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: X Corp. has proposed an amended US antitrust complaint over an allegedly illegal group boycott to withhold advertising revenue from its platform perpetuated by the World Federation of Advertisers, Ørsted A/S, CVS Health and Unilever, with the additions of Twitch Interactive, Nestlé S.A., Abbott Laboratories, Colgate Palmolive Co., Lego A/S, Pinterest, Tyson Foods and Shell USA as defendants. The advertiser defendants used the WFA trade association to coordinate an agreement to abruptly, in lockstep, boycott Twitter, now X, by discontinuing entirely or substantially their substantial advertising purchases from the platform, the filing to the US Northern District of Texas said.See attached document....
