The revised proposal introduces a permanent voluntary detection scheme for CSAM, removes controversial detection orders and shifts the focus from mitigation to prevention.The latest compromise text of draft EU regulation, sent by the representatives of Poland - who currently hold the rotating presidency of the the Council of the EU - to the member states' group of law enforcement officials, proposes changes to regulations aiming to detect and remove online child sexual abuse, or CSAM, from communication platforms. The updated text introduces a permanent voluntary detection scheme and removes detection orders entirely....
