US Soccer, MLS move for judgment in US antitrust case

( January 29, 2025, 21:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The North American Soccer League has offered no evidence that could allow a jury to find the US Soccer Federation and Major League Soccer liable for federal antitrust claims, the defendants said in a motion for judgment filed in the Eastern District of New York. "NASL conceded that it has no direct evidence of any conspiracy" and chose to withdraw a liability expert at trial, "leaving its presentation completely silent on key legal elements," the motion said.See attached document....
