Realtek’s fee request floats penalizing the non-disclosure of AASIs

In the pleadings, Realtek accuses the defendants of keeping it and a US judge in the dark about an anti, antisuit injunction — or AASI — entered by a German national court for 20 days. Broadcom and Avago, in a filing unsealed on Friday, say there is “nothing nefarious” about their pursuit of relief abroad, nor in a German court moving to “protect its jurisdiction.” Should the US judge overseeing Realtek’s request disagree, it could set the stage for a showdown over the need to disclose antisuit injunctions.Semiconductor maker Realtek is keeping the pressure on, even after achieving its desired result at the Delaware Court of Chancery, filing a sealed reply brief on Friday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware in support of a request for $134,452 in attorney fees....
