Uniti Group must follow broadband access rules, says Australian competition regulator

In a statement today, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said that these binding rules were issued in response to concerns raised by broadband retailers who sought to access Uniti Group's superfast broadband access service at regulated prices. Retailers argued that Uniti Group's proposed interconnection arrangements were not commercially viable. The regulator said that the binding rules of conduct will promote retail competition in the industry.
