How can France catch below-threshold mergers? Consultation offers options

Three options are on the table: a call-in power based on “quantitative and qualitative” criteria, a new notification obligation for companies with a degree of market power, or relying on existing provisions that prohibit anticompetitive agreements or abuse of a dominant position.
