China's 2024 trade grows 3.8 percent to $6.16 trillion

( January 14, 2025, 08:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's total imports and exports hit $6.16 trillion in 2024, up 3.8 percent from the previous year, according to US dollar-denominated data released by the General Administration of Customs. Exports rose 5.9 percent to $3.6 trillion, while imports edged up 1.1 percent to $2.6 trillion. Exports to the EU climbed 3 percent to $516 billion over the past year, though imports fell 4.4 percent to $269 billion. Trade with the US saw exports rise 4.9 percent to $525 billion, while imports dipped 0.1 percent to $164 billion.The files are attached....
