Tencent denies military ties after inclusion in US 1260H list, calls it 'a mistake'

The designation, published in the US Federal Register yesterday as part of the Defense Department's annual Section 1260H update, also named Chinese battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology. Tencent denied being a military company or supplier and said that the listing does not impact its business.
