( December 24, 2024, 14:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Panasonic and Xiaomi have resolved their standard patent infringement dispute at the Unified Patent Court’s Munich Local Chamber, leading to the withdrawal of all claims and counterclaims. The case involved EP 2,197,132, EP 3,024,163 and EP 2,584,854 concerning 3G and 4G connectivity. The dispute spanned multiple Xiaomi entities, including subsidiaries in Germany, France, Italy and other regions. Both companies will bear their own legal costs, and receive a 40 percent reimbursement of court fees under the UPC’s Rules of Procedure.
