Indonesian respondents in business-conspiracy case warned for ignoring KPPU summons

( December 20, 2024, 02:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Two industrial-machinery companies, Maruka Indonesia and its subsidiary Unique Solutions Indonesia, and the latter’s president, Hiroo Yoshida, are potentially facing criminal sanctions after twice ignoring summons from the Indonesian Competition Commission. The three parties have been undergoing hearings since July over allegations they conspired to obtain confidential business information from Chiyoda Kogyo Indonesia, a company they used to be connected with. But they ignored the KPPU’s summons on Dec. 12 and again on Dec. 19.
