Under Biden, antitrust agencies saw 69 deals abandoned after a merger probe

Twenty-six deals under DOJ scrutiny have been abandoned since Jonathan Kanter took over the DOJ's Antitrust Division in December 2021. Forty-three deals under review by the FTC were called off since June 2021, when Lina Khan took office. Sixty-nine proposed business mergers have been scrapped after the initiation of investigations by the US Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, MLex has learned....
