Ryanair breaking EU law with forced accounts, biometrics, Noyb argues (update*)

Ryanair is unlawfully pushing users to provide personal information while also increasing its market power, Noyb argues. The practices undermine GDPR principles of data minimization and consent requirements, it says. Ryanair today defended its practices as legal and helpful to its customers.  Ryanair will today be targeted by a data protection complaint, digital rights campaign organization Noyb says, over its practice of forcing people to create accounts and then go through a verification process....
