The workshops are expected to use public pressure to nudge the platforms to improve their risk assessment exercises and will focus on themes such as fundamental rights, recommender systems, and minors’ protection.Major online platforms such as TikTok, Meta, and X will likely have to explain publicly how they are addressing systemic risks in upcoming workshops organized by the European Commission under the EU’s Digital Services Act, or DSA, starting in early 2025, MLex has learned....
