Rose Acre Farms looks to limit damages in US egg price-fixing case

( December 4, 2024, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary Rose Acre Farms asked a US federal judge to reduce damages awards in a case accusing it of conspiring to restrict the supply of eggs. It argued that the court must offset the verdict by the amounts of settlements plaintiffs reached with co-conspirators so that they do not earn a windfall greatly more than the damages found by the jury. Additionally, the jury found that plaintiffs were injured only from October 2004 to December 2008, not through 2012, as plaintiffs alleged.See attached file. ...
