RealPage says US DOJ, states' antitrust complaint is deficient

( December 3, 2024, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: RealPage moved to dismiss US antitrust claims filed by the Department of Justice and states accusing it of scheming to stifle competition in apartment rental markets using anticompetitive pricing algorithms. It said the complaint fails to show that at least 30 or 40 percent of the units in a particular housing market use its YieldStar service and rather than identifying specific shares in specific markets, alleges only generalized share ranges that are not tied to any market.
