Unified Patent Court totals 585 cases in first 18 months

( December 2, 2024, 21:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- Since it was launched in June 2023, the Unified Patent Court received a total of 585 cases at the Court of First Instance, according to the UPC's monthly report. That means 47 cases have been filed in the last month. Overall, 219 infringement actions have been filed, with the local divisions in the German cities of Munich, Mannheim, Düsseldorf and Hamburg in the lead. The Court of Appeal has received 115 appeals in total. The appellate court also received 14 filings requesting discretionary review, 14 applications for suspensive effect and 25 applications for an order for expedition of an appeal.See UPC report attached....
