IOC wins injunction over ‘Paris2024.com’ months after Olympic games

Last week, in entering a preliminary injunction, a US judge deemed the IOC likely to succeed in proving CityPure violated a settlement agreement between the parties when registering its latest domain and launching an app for purported livestreaming of the summer games.Seven years after CityPure agreed to refrain from operating any “City Year Domain” or “Former City Year Domain” in a commercial way, it is back to its old tricks and back in court with the International Olympic Committee....
