HTC, Lenovo, LG challenge to Dutch wireless networks patent upheld in US federal court

( December 2, 2024, 19:04 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit found in favor of a patent challenge initially brought by HTC, Lenovo and LG against Dutch firm Koninklijke KPN for wireless networking technology. The court found that multiple of the patent’s claims should be canceled for obviousness based on prior art. The US Patent and Trademark Office successfully pursued the appeal as intervenor after the three tech companies withdrew from the case.See attached file....
