The judge considered the “after-effect” where consumers would continue associating new mark “NINOME” — which drops the circumflex accent from the company's name — with “LANCÔME.”Ninôme infringed L’Oréal’s “LANCÔME” trademark by using the marks “NINÔME” and “NINOME” for its beauty products, the District Court of The Hague ruled today....
