Philippine competition regulator suspends fee rates on binding ruling requests

( November 29, 2024, 06:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Philippine Competition Commission has suspended the schedule of fees for requests for its opinion on contemplated acts, conducts, agreements or decisions to encourage the voluntary use of non-adversarial administrative remedies. The PCC's 2017 rules required a filing fee of one to three percent of the requesting entity's assets or annual revenue, whichever is higher, but under new interim guidelines, filing fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on complexity, sector, assessment time and resources, economic impact, financial capacity and administrative costs.The press release follows:...
