Aurizon-Flinders Logistics stevedoring deal can proceed, following Australian green light

( November 28, 2024, 03:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Publicly listed Australian freight-transport company Aurizon Operations’ plan to acquire Flinders Logistics and its wholly owned subsidy Pirie Bulk under a share-sale agreement is set to proceed, with the country’s competition watchdog clearing the deal. In a statement, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission announced that a restructuring of the deal had addressed the regulator’s preliminary competition concerns.
