UK online safety risks outlined in new study as watchdog readies to enforce new law

The research is published today by regulator Ofcom, which is preparing to start enforcing parts of the Online Safety Act from early next year. The watchdog says “women and teenage girls are much more troubled than men about the potential for harm online.” The report also found that, across all adult age groups, women are spending more time online than men.Statement follows.
