Filmmaker's US copyright clash with Apple, Shyamalan will finally head to trial

Night Shyamalan must face allegations of copyright infringement leveled by independent filmmaker Francesca Gregorini at a trial planned for February 2025, following a denial of their motion for summary judgment.  At issue in the dispute, filed in January 2020, is Gregorini's indie film "The Truth About Emanuel" and "Servant," a show directed by Shyamalan and streamed on Apple TV from 2019 to 2023.See attached file....
