Panasonic wins injunction against OPPO in EU's Unified Patent Court ruling

By Inbar Preiss ( November 22, 2024, 13:26 GMT | Insight) -- The Unified Patent Court ruled today in favor of Panasonic in its lawsuit against OPPO over a standard essential patent covering 4G internet connectivity. The UPC Mannheim Local Division granted Panasonic an injunction and ordered its Chinese electronics manufacturer competitor to immediately stop sales of smartphone and smartwatch lines the court ruled to be used without a license. OPPO will also need to cover damages.The Unified Patent Court Local Division Mannheim has ruled in favor of Panasonic Corporation in its patent infringement lawsuit against Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp....
