Live Nation wins conditional approval for Portuguese acquisitions

Ritmos & Blues is a live events promoter in Portugal, while Arena Atlântico operates the MEO Arena in Lisbon and provides ticketing services for live events. To address competition concerns, Live Nation agreed to give events promoters using the MEO Arena freedom of choice over what ticketing service provider they use, the Portuguese competition authority said. Live Nation also agreed to freeze access prices for the next five years, and to provide safeguards preventing the exchange of commercially sensitive information with rival promoters using the MEO Arena.Statement follows....
