PVC purchasers move to subsume 'copy-paste' Fegan Scott complaint

( November 14, 2024, 23:20 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A proposed class of non-converter seller purchasers in a PVC price-fixing lawsuit told an Illinois federal judge that a complaint filed by firm Fegan Scott "is a near-complete copy-paste replication" of their suit, and that the firm's proposed carve-out of a plaintiff subclass is unwarranted and inefficient. Fegan Scott's argument that a conflict in representing both first- and second-level purchasers precludes counsel's representation of public and private drinking water and sewer service providers in the class fails, creates new problems, and is inefficient and costly for the class, the plaintiffs said in a motion to enforce consolidation orders.See attached file....
