Amazon briefs Brazilian court, says it is in compliance with injunction

( November 11, 2024, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A patent injunction awarded to DivX in June took time to comply with, Amazon told the 5th Business Court of Rio de Janeiro, because it required the withdrawal from the Brazilian market of all Amazon UltraHD/4K devices.  Additionally, Amazon says it has disabled streaming of UltraHD/4K content on Amazon Prime in Brazil. Amazon asked the court to impose a bond of 50 million reais (US $8.67 million) against DivX.See attached file....
