Syngenta ask US judge to compel Atticus subpoena compliance

( November 18, 2024, 17:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Syngenta asked a US judge to compel Atticus to comply with a subpoena for documents on its competitive positioning and performance as a key supplier of generic crop protection products. "Syngenta seeks documents from Atticus to refute the Plaintiffs' allegations that Syngenta's rebate programs have suppressed competition from generic suppliers such as Atticus," said the motion-to-compel filed to the US Middle District of North Carolina. Both Syngenta and the US Federal Trade Commission have subpoenaed Atticus, and after providing a "small volume of documents" and stating that meeting and conferring was a necessary threshold event prior to further production, Atticus has ignored Syngenta's attempts to do so, the filing said.See attached documents:...
