Amazon facing fresh patent infringement claims by DivX, this time in US federal court

( November 15, 2024, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: San Diego-based video technology company DivX sued Amazon.com and Amazon Web Services for allegedly infringing six patents relating to various technologies it says are incorporated into the Amazon Fire, Fire HD, Fire HD Plus, Fire Kids, Fire Kids Pro, Fire HD Kids and Fire HD Kids Pro tablets, various Fire TV Stick and Fire Cube devices, the Amazon Fire TV 4-Series and Fire TV Omni Series, and the Amazon Prime service.
