Pet-food supplier Vafo Praha gets Czech fine for resale price maintenance

( November 19, 2024, 12:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Pet-food maker Vafo Praha has received a fine of 120 million koruna ($5 million) for forcing its trade partners to stick to minimum prices for the sale of pet food to final customers. The conduct took place from 2013 to 2021, the Czech competition authority said today. The fine was imposed as part of a settlement with the authority. Vafo produces and distributes well-known brands of pet food, mainly for dogs and cats.
