Zhejiang Beyondsun loses appeal of retrospective EU solar-panel duties at court

The EU regulator had found its unit Zhejiang Trunsun Solar guilty of breaching an undertaking by which it was obliged to sell above a certain minimum price to avoid EU tariffs. In a judgment delivered today, the first-tier EU court said that the applicant's claims that the watchdog relied on powers that had either expired or been repealed must be rejected as unfounded. The judgment is attached.
