Ant Group, vending-machine operators in Beijing receive personal-data compliance training

( November 19, 2024, 06:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: Ant Group, Tencent's WeChat, 12 vending machine operators and 12 service providers underwent compliance training on personal-information collection and use, as required by Beijing authorities, according to a statement released by the Beijing Internet Information Office. The training focused on interpretation of the rules for personal-information processing, obligations of personal-information handlers, legal responsibilities as stipulated by the Personal Information Protection Law, plus five common issues identified during inspections.
