Njoy makes legal moves against Juul patent-infringement allegations at ITC

( August 22, 2023, 20:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: E-cigarette maker Njoy and its parent company Altria have filed their own claims against rival Juul Labs after Njoy was accused of infringing on Juul’s patents with its ACE vape model. In June, Juul filed claims at the US International Trade Commission alleging Njoy had infringed upon its patents for vape technology. Njoy also filed at the ITC, seeking a ban on imports and sales of Juul vaping products and pods. Njoy also filed a claim at the Delaware district court with similar contents, saying ACE “is currently the only pod-based e-vapor product to receive marketing authorization from the FDA.”Press release below...
