OpenAI keeps injunction in trademark row with Open Artificial Intelligence

A dissent cast doubt at that holding, questioning whether the release in September 2022 of the text-to-image generator DALL·E 2 made “OpenAI” a “household name,” as well as the district court’s handling of two errors in her preliminary injunction order.An infringement dispute between OpenAI and Guy Ravine’s Open Artificial Intelligence over “OpenAI” as a trademark will proceed with a preliminary injunction in place....
