Booking's duties as EU Digital Markets Act 'gatekeeper' start today, watchdog notes

Booking was designated as a gatekeeper under the EU's Digital Markets Act in May and today its obligations kick in, meaning it must make sure that its online intermediation service is fully and effectively in line with the DMA. Booking will have to submit an independently audited description of techniques it uses for profiling consumers, along with a public version of the consumer profiling reports, the EU executive said.Statement follows. ...
