Tundra fails to get US court to allow further discovery in antitrust challenge to Faire

By Alex Wilts ( November 14, 2024, 02:40 GMT | Insight) -- Tundra failed to persuade a California federal judge not to pause discovery while she considers whether to allow the case accusing Faire Wholesale of being an illegal monopolist to move forward. At a hearing today for the dispute between online platforms that connect independent brands with retailers, US District Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín told the parties that based on her “sense” of the arguments and her views regarding Faire’s motion to dismiss the litigation, she would grant Faire’s motion to stay discovery. Tundra failed to persuade a California federal judge to not pause discovery while she considers whether to allow the case accusing Faire Wholesale of being an illegal monopolist to move forward....
