Merger remedies in Vodafone-TIM deal upheld by EU court

They argued that commitments by the joint venture to provide rivals with access to free space on its towers were imprecise. Judges said the commission was not required to spell out all the "technical details" of a remedy's implementation.Vodafone’s mobile-towers joint venture with Telecom Italia has seen off a legal challenge from rivals Iliad and Fastweb, which argued that commitments accepted by the European Commission were “insufficiently clear.”...
