Japanese government's IP policy for 2025 open for public comment

The key topics that have come under discussion in the expert panel held under Japan’s Cabinet Office includes the so-called “Cool Japan” strategy, promoting investment in innovation, IP issues surfacing in the development of generative AI, and IP protection of Japanese content in foreign markets.
