Japanese patent-infringement case sparks discussion on territoriality legal change

The Japan Patent Office’s aim is to address how to protect inventions involving cross-border network technology, in light of a 2023 patent infringement decision by the IP court that ruled on territoriality regarding an invention using cross-border technology.
