Subaru faces US patent claim from non-practicing entity over reverse camera system

Both of the previous suits — against Volkswagen and Mazda — were dismissed.VDPP, a non-practicing entity, sued Subaru in the Eastern District of Texas claiming the automaker infringed on its patent with its back-up camera technology used on the rear of its cars. The suit comes months after a near-identical VDPP suit against Volkswagen was thrown out in the Southern District of Texas, resulting in sanctions against VDPP's counsel.   ...
