Express Scripts seeks separate administrative trial in US FTC case over insulin prices

( October 18, 2024, 21:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Express Scripts told a US Federal Trade Commission administrative law judge that the company is prejudiced by the agency's joining of three pharmacy benefit management companies in a single suit over alleged anticompetitive conduct in the market for insulin treatment. "The Commission’s decision to join numerous unrelated Respondents in the same action creates an inherently unfair and inefficient process that prejudices the ESI Respondents," the company said in a motion for a separate evidentiary hearing filed in the agency's administrative court.See attached file....
