IBM’s UK CEO, Lego Holding’s digital adviser to join UK department of technology’s board

( November 7, 2024, 13:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Nicola Hodson — the CEO of IBM UK and Ireland — and Paul Willmott, the chief digital adviser for Lego Holding, were appointed today to join the board of the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. DSIT also appointed Adam Tickell — from the University of Birmingham — and Helen Milner, from Good Things Foundation, who will join the board as non-executive directors on a temporary basis for up to nine months. The refreshed board will oversee DSIT’s ambitions to “overhaul public services, tackle challenges posed by digital exclusion and fuel economic growth.”Statement follows....
