Google exec takes the stand in Indonesian antitrust case as witness examinations wrap up

( November 8, 2024, 04:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google's vice president for Google Play, Paul Feng, was examined by the Indonesian Competition Commission, or KPPU, yesterday as part of the hearings into allegations the app store's billing policy violated antitrust rules. In a statement, the KPPU said the Google executive was questioned about operational matters, particularly the mobile application distribution agreement that app developers sign to be listed on the app store. Feng said the Google Play Billing policy in question has been in effect since 2011 and that almost all developers comply with it.
